Adding An Application In Crowd

The first step is to create a new application in Crowd. The PHP will use the new application's credentials when communicating with Crowd.

Add Application

From the Applications tab (1) in Crowd, click on Add Application (2).

Configure Details

Crowd will not take you through 5 configuration screens. On the Details screen you name the application and provide a password.

For the Application Type select Generic Application (1) and for the name enter screenstep-live (2).

After you have entered the other information press the Next button.

Configure Connection

Now you need to configure the Remote IP Address of the server that the PHP script will be running on. Crowd makes this easy. Just enter the URL to the PHP script (1) and click the Resolve IP Address button (2). Crowd will then fill in the Remote IP Address field for you (3). Click Next to continue.

Configure Directories & Authorization

The next two tabs relate to how you will authorize users.
