Overview
NOTE: ScreenSteps Live now offers SAML integration with Salesforce.com. These instructions are for using the ScreenSteps Live Remote Auth with Salesforce. We suggest that you use the SAML integration as the set up is much simpler.
Using the Remote Authentication feature of ScreenSteps Live you can use Salesforce.com to manage who has access to ScreenSteps Live content. When you use Remote Authentication, ScreenSteps Live uses a 3rd party service to authenticate users rather than the built-in authentication.
We have written a Visualforce page that you can add to your Salesforce.com account that will perform the necessary operations to log your Salesforce.com users into ScreenSteps Live. This chapter will walk you through how to configure ScreenSteps Live and create the Visualforce page in Salesforce.com in order to get Remote Authentication working.
