Test: Logging Into ScreenSteps Live with Salesforce Credentials

Now that you have configured ScreenSteps Live and created the necessary controller and page in Salesforce.com you are ready to log into your ScreenSteps Live account using your Salesforce.com credentials.

Let's go through a simple test to ensure that everything is working correctly.

Navigate to Admin Area

You can test by navigating to the Admin area of your ScreenSteps Live account. Enter the url to the admin are of your ScreenSteps Live account. The url will be your ScreenSteps Live domain followed by "/admin". For example:

http://example.screenstepslive.com/admin

Salesforce.com Login Screen

The Salesforce.com login screen will appear rather than the standard ScreenSteps Live login screen. Enter your Salesforce.com use credentials.

The Login Page

After successfully logging in to Salesforce.com you will see the page you created earlier for a brief moment. It will say "Redirecting to ScreenSteps Live...".

Success!

You are then redirected to the ScreenSteps Live administration area. You have successfully logged in using your Salesforce.com credentials.

Logging Out

Now you can test logging out. Click on the Log-Out link in the upper-right hand corner of the admin area.

You should be taken to the logout url you provided when you configured Remote Login. In our example I entered http://trevordevore.screenstepslive.com. When navigating to the root url of your ScreenSteps Live site, ScreenSteps Live displays the default content. In this case it is a list of Spaces.
