On the plugin settings page you will need to enter two pieces of information.

1) Your ScreenSteps Live domain
2) Your remote authorization token

Begin by entering your ScreenSteps Live domain. Next I will show you how to get your remote authorization token.

Load Settings In ScreenSteps Live Admin Area

Load_settings_in_screensteps_live_admin_area_display

Log into your ScreenSteps Live account and click on Account > Account Settings.

Enable Remote Authentication

Enable_remote_authentication_display

Click on the checkbox for Enable remote authentication in the Account Settings screen.

Enter Remote Login Url

Enter_remote_login_url_display

First set the mode to ScreenSteps Live Remote Auth (1).

Now you need to tell ScreenSteps Live where it should send people when they need to log in to see protected ScreenSteps Live content. For the Remote login url you need to enter the path to the WordPress login page along with a special variable called ss_live_remote_login (2). Your url should look something like this:

http://www.mydomain.com/myblog/wp-login.php?sslive_remote_login=1

Click Save Remote Authentication Settings (3).

Your Remote Authentication Token Appears

Your_remote_authentication_token_appears_display

After clicking the save button your remote authentication token will appear. Copy this string to the clipboard.

Enter Remote Authorization Token in Plugin Settings

Enter_remote_authorization_token_in_plugin_settings_display

Now that you have copied the remote authorization token to the clipboard switch back to the plugin settings page in WordPress. Paste the token into the proper field (1) and click Save Settings (2).

Try To Access Protected Content In ScreenSteps Live

Assuming you are not logged in you will be redirected to the WordPress login page. After successfully logging in using the WordPress form you will be redirected to the ScreenSteps Live resource you requested.

Note: If you need to log into ScreenSteps Live using the standard login form you can always access it at:
