What is a Manual?
This lesson will help you understand what a manual is on ScreenSteps Live.
A manual is an organized collection of ScreenSteps lessons. A manual will contain a table of contents, a first lesson and a last lesson.
Table of Contents
Here is an example of a manual on ScreenSteps Live. The various elements are:
1. Manual title.
2. Chapter title - A chapter is just a grouping of lessons in a manual. It is a way for you to sub-divide your lessons and better organize your content.
3. Lesson - this is a link to a lesson in the manual. When the user clicks on it they will be able to view that lesson.
Navigation in a Manual
When a user is viewing a lesson they will have the options of going to the Next/Previous lesson, or jumping directly to any lesson in the manual.
