Adding a ScreenSteps Live widget to FogBugz

This lesson will show you how to add a ScreenSteps Live search widget to your FogBugz help desk.

Select Admin Dashboard

Select Admin > Dashboard.

Select Plugins

Select Bug Monkey

Select_bug_monkey

If BugMonkey isn't installed then you will need to activate it from View All Available Plugins. If it is installed, just click Configure (1).

Paste Script and Update

1. Paste enter the javascript found here.
2. Paste the CSS code found here.

Configuring the Javascript Code

When configuring the widget, you only need to change the options in the object at the top of the file.

1. domain - Your ScreenSteps Live domain.
2. space - Your space id or permalink. See how to find your space id or permalink.
3. username and password - Enter an API access username and password.

Click Save

Click_save

Once everything is configured correctly, click Save.

Search

Search

This code will create a search box at the bottom of the ticket.

Enter text and search to get results. Then just right click to paste the url into your ticket.
