Customizing the Colors on Your Space
This lesson will show you how to customize the colors on your ScreenSteps Live spaces without having to edit any HTML or CSS code. If you would like completely customize the look of your ScreenSteps Live space then you should use Custom Templates. But the method shown below is the quickest and easiest way to customize the look of your ScreenSteps Live space.

Select Edit Space

Create Your Own Color Combination
You can also create your own color combination by updating the values for headers, sidebars, etc. The different sections of the page are divided into tabs along the top. Just select the tab for the area you wish to edit.
Edit a Color
Clicking on a field will open a color palette. You can:
1. Adjust the color slider
2. Enter a hex value
3. Enter an RGB or HSB value
4. Set the current color
Adjust Color
In this example I have adjusted the color slider (1) and adjusted the current color (2). The current color is displayed in square #3. Clicking on square #4 will reset any of my changes.
Preview Changes
As you make adjustments you will see how your changes will look in the preview window below.
Apply Change
Click the color wheel to apply your changes. This just closes the color editor for the selected field. Your changes won't be permanent until you click Save.
Save Changes
Once you are happy with your changes click Save. That's it. Your ScreenSteps Live space will now use the new color scheme.
