Sometimes people want to create a ScreenSteps lesson about how to use ScreenSteps. That can be a little tricky because of the way ScreenSteps works. For those of you who want try though, here are some ways to approach it.

It is a good idea to create a PostgreSQL login role specifically for ScreenSteps Workgroup to connect with. These instructions will show you how.

ScreenSteps Workgroup allows you to configure multiple libraries for each installation. You can the control who has access to a library by assigning groups to it. This allows you to have different documentation projects within your organization.

ScreenSteps allows an author to check out lessons or manuals that another author has checked out. This is useful if the other author is not available to check the lesson or manual back in.

Note that besides the method shown here you can also override another author using the contextual menu that appears when clicking on a lesson or manual in a list.
