Importing Images From Quicktime or WMV Files
This lesson will show you how to use the Clipboard Recorder to quickly create a ScreenSteps lesson from a movie.
Turn on Clipboard Recording

Click on the Clipboard Recorder button to turn on clipboard recording. The button will flash red when clipboard recording is activated.
Open Movie

Open your movie in a video playback application that can copy frames of the movie to the clipboard. In this example I'm using QuickTime Player on Mac OS X.
Find and Copy Frames to Clipboard

Navigate to the frame you want to import into ScreenSteps and then use Edit > Copy to copy the frame to the clipboard. Repeat for each frame you want to include in the ScreenSteps document.
The Result

ScreenSteps will import each frame into your document at which point you can go back and add text and annotations.
